On an
enormous continental island, the kingdoms of Altra and Eleria are all that
remain of four once great kingdoms. Twenty years ago, the kingdom of Altra
obtained a mystical beast known as a dragon. They unleashed the creature on
the royal palace of Eleria, where it decimated the royal family. But
something went wrong, and the dragon was chased into the Windy Mountains
where it vanished. Altra and Eleria were soon embroiled in a war that was
centered on both armies seeking the dragon in the mountains. Each kingdom
hoped that the dragon could be used to tip the scales of war. This struggle
between the two kingdoms was named “The War to the Mountains.” The dragon
was never found. Although the fighting is over, history has not declared a
winner. However, the real war is just beginning.
Dark currents
are still lurking in the former cities of the four great kingdoms, and
doomsayers have started quoting a long forgotten prophesy:
The
prophesied one will come under false pretense and swallow the ocean to
reveal the lost city of Falbagar, the prison of the “Evil One.” When the
ocean is swallowed, the “Evil One” will rise again and consume the land. The
brother of the prophesied one will take the evil into him and will fight a
battle.
The continent
is divided by politics, slavery, and a dangerous movement against the occult
practice of magic. Today, the maelstrom is centered on Eleria, and the fate
of the entire planet hangs in the balance. |
